How It Works
Southwestern Seminary has provided a free discipleship curriculum that is comprehensive and grounded in Scripture. This six-year curriculum covers Apologetics, Biblical Interpretation, Biblical Relationships, Core Doctrines, Ethics, Evangelism and Missions, Servant Leadership, Spiritual Disciplines, and Worldview. This is a curriculum that truly helps student disciples learn to make disciples themselves. A lesson is taught on a weekly basis by a group teacher before D-Groups (Disciple Groups) form to facilitate the rest of the lesson for that week. There are questions provided for parents to ask throughout the week so that you can monitor and play an active role in the discipleship process of your student.

Time
Disciple6 (D6) is done Sunday mornings during our first service that starts at 9:30. If this is your family's preferred time to worship, we are open to providing D-Groups during the second service or at another time if need be. Please let Nate Jordan know if that is the case.
D6 Guidelines
Disciple6 works best when parents are the primary teachers of the students. Monday through Saturday we are asking parents to ask the “At Home” questions and to help guide their children to discover the truths being taught each week. We will see the greatest result when parents and student ministry are partnered together.
We do not expect every student to be in a Sunday morning D-Group. Disciple6 is not open group Sunday school. Each member of D-Group is expected to make a commitment to faithfully attend and to be prepared for each week’s lesson. We will only begin new groups at the beginning of each semester (September and January).
We highly encourage D-Group members to be faithful in Sunday worship attendance. D-Groups are not a substitute for corporate worship and once again we see the greatest result when parents are involved in this process and worship together with their child.
If you would like to make a commitment to be in a D6 group, please feel free to fill out the form below.
